Warsaw Negotiation Round Madrid is an initiative organized as a preliminary tournament for the finals of Warsaw Negotiation Round 2026. It is an occasion to compete against top student negotiators from all across Spain and take your skills to the next level!
About the event
Organized by the IE Debate Club at the IE University in Madrid, the tournament is a part of a joint project by the students from three academic organizations: SKN Negocjator from Warsaw School of Economics, IE Debate Club from IE University Madrid and Dutch Negotiation Network from the Netherlands. It is a part of the qualification process to Warsaw Negotiation Round 2026.
IE DEBATE CLUB
The IE Debate Club is a student-run orgnisation under IE University. It is a platform with over 1,000+ student members for opinion sharing and development of soft and hard skills necessary to succeed in debate, negotiations and everyday life. The club allows students and alumni to network and collectively expand their knowledge of global issues and gain a better understanding of international affairs
How to participate?
Participation in Warsaw Negotiation Round step by step.
1. Gather a team
Form a team of three students passionate about negotiation and ready to challenge themselves on an international stage. Ensure that at least two team members come from the same university (in certain circumstances a team can consist of 2 members). Grab 2 friends and enroll!
In case you cannot form a team - don't worry! Fill in the IEconncets form and specify in the email with your resume that we should arrange a team for you!
2. Enroll for the tournament
Prepare a professional resume of each team member including your academic achievements, negotiation experience, and any notable extracurricular involvement. Don't forget to specify if you enroll as a team or as an individual! Send these documents to contact@warsawnegotiations.com and fill a participation form that is available on the top of this page
3. Wait for the results
After the enrollment for Warsaw Negotiation Round Madrid finishes, you will receive a message with the results. If you manage to secure the spot as a participant, confirm your availability, pay the participation fee of 5 EUR per person and reserve the date of the 7th of March. Plan your travel to Madrid and prepare yourselves for the event.
4. For the winners
The winners of Warsaw Negotiation Round Madrid qualify for finals of the tournament in Warsaw. After qualifying the team has to complete the same steps as teams granted places in the finals via online qualifications. All that is left afterwards is prepare your negotiation skills for the highest international level of negotiations!
